“TAKE THE WORD OF GOD INTO THE NATIONS OF THE EARTH AND BRING MIRACLES TO THE LIVES OF MANY BY THE DEMONSTRATION OF THE GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT.”
This divine mandate given to Pastor Obinna Michael was the driving force for when he began his ministry full-time in 2007. But it wasn’t until four years after, when the ministry had moved to AMC, Lagos, that he chose to truly give his all to the work of God.
From that moment of resolve, the Giftens Church was born. He began to carry out his mission – to raise a people for God who will carry Jesus into the world and manifest Him everywhere.
The ministry remained at AMC for five years and experienced rapid growth before moving to Beverly Event Centre, Gbagada, Lagos. At Beverly, the first set of pastors of the Giftens Church were ordained. The church continued in Beverly for four years before the Lord said it was time to move again. He bought the Gifted House and the church moved to her own venue in 2019.
GIVING BEAUTY FOR ASHES
Since he began his full-time ministry, Pastor Obinna Michael has remained faithful to his calling, and God has blessed the ministry with the demonstration of the gifts of the Spirit, as well as the undiluted Word of God.
Through programs like Night of Beauty and Finance Convention, thousands of lives have received beauty for ashes by the rhema word and transformative power of God at work in his life and ministry.
Till date, countless healings, miracles, and mind-blowing testimonies are being recorded.
BUILDING THE LOCAL CHURCH
With a commitment to bring out the gifts in men, raising them to manifest Jesus Christ everywhere, Pastor Obinna Michael has created different avenues for learning, growth, and discipleship within The Giftens Church.
These avenues include – The Foundation Class, The Cell System, Grace Speaks Magazine, and The Guiding Voice Daily Devotional.
Through these systems, he has helped thousands of believers to increase in the knowledge of Christ, become spiritually stable, be discipled, and be accountable in their walk with God.
