CHRISTIANITY IS NOT A RELIGION.

John 14: 6 (MSG). Jesus said, “I am the Road, also the Truth, also the Life. No one gets to the Father apart from me.
It is an insult for anyone to call Jesus the head of the Christian religion. For a believer to say this kind of a thing shows he or she is ignorant of the truth.
What truth you may ask?
The truth about Christianity. Christianity is not a religion. Religion is man’s way of worshiping a god he doesn’t know by observing some set of rules in other to please or be good to himself or the god.
This is what all the religions of the world offers you. They are not sure of who they are worshipping and how to get to him. They believe in some rules to make it through their god. They believe doing good will take them to “heaven” and obtain peace with their god. But this is not so with Christianity and sadly many so called Christians think alike and act alike.
The Lord Jesus was specific in his words, we are not trying to find God by good deeds, He is the way to this God without him, you can’t access this God. Which means any other way or things you are doing to get to him is a waste of time.
In Christianity, we don’t believe that your good deeds is what will take you to heaven but your acceptance of Jesus as your Lord and personal savior, it is declaring him as your Lord, but this does not stop us from doing good, but we do it just because it is in our new nature to do so.
Christianity is the “LIFE OF GOD IN A MAN”. It is a mortal housing for the creator of the universe. Christianity is having a relationship with the God of the universe through his son Jesus Christ. This is what we are into and it is not a religion.
Prayer:
Father in heaven, I am grateful for this truth, I thank you for opening my eyes to this truth showing me what I have in you and who I am. I am a child of God and I am bold to say that I belong to God.
