FEAR IS NOT GODLY.

1 John 4: 18 (AMP). There is no fear in love [dread does not exist], but full-grown (complete, perfect) love turns fear out of doors and expels every trace of terror! For fear brings with it the thought of punishment, and [so] he who is afraid has not reached the full maturity of love [is not yet grown into love’s complete perfection].
Children of God, why are you afraid? What are you afraid of?
Do you not know that fear is bad and comes with it’s own terror? No matter how you want to paint it or defend it, fear is bad and that is what the word says. Some believers do not know that fear is a spirit. I know that not all fears are spiritual but fear is a spirit.
God does not want any of us to fear, whether it is the fear of height, exams, pregnancy, conception, delivery, travels, movement, sickness, promotion, interview, etc. Don’t be afraid, do not accommodate any of such fears.
John the Apostle says to us that anyone with any form of fear has not reached the full maturity of love. What does this mean?
The realm of love’s full maturity is the realm of love’s complete perfection. You get here not by prayer but by been born again, and you mature here and stay here by KNOWLEDGE. The knowledge of the son of God who loves you and gave himself for you.
When you know Jesus loves you and cares for you and is with you and IN YOU, this kind of knowledge will banish any form of fear out of you. When you know he is not mad at you and will not condemn you nor criticise you, this will help your heart not to fear, do this today and fear will be gone.
Prayer:
My loving father, I thank you for loving me, I thank you for sending your son to come demonstrate it on the cross. I live for him and by him, this knowledge has taken fear out of me. Amen.
