YOU MUST HATE EVIL.

YOU MUST HATE EVIL.
Pastor Obinna Michael

Proverbs 8: 13 (KJV). The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: Pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, And the froward mouth, do I hate.

Job 1: 1 (MSG). Job was a man who lived in Uz. He was honest inside and out, a man of his word, who was totally devoted to God and hated evil with a passion.

Why are we not making the impact we want to, or we are supposed to have in the world? Why are Christians been mocked today by the people of the world? Why is the church not commanding the power it supposed to in our time and generation? We have a lot of crowd today in the church, but why are we not been trusted or believed in?
There is something lacking or missing in our Christianity, that thing is called “THE FEAR OF THE LORD”. The Christianity of today do not hate evil, infact we live with the evil, we accommodate evil amongst us. We practice a Christianity that call evil good and good evil. Sometimes, we don’t want to offend anybody, the reason we don’t talk when we noticed someone perpetrating evil.

– It is the fear of the Lord to hate evil, it is the wisdom to hate evil, meaning that anybody who do not hate evil is lacking the wisdom of God to live by. One of the credentials of brother Job who lived in the old dispensation was that he feared the Lord and HATED EVIL WITH A PASSION.
Why are we the way we are? You can’t claim to fear the Lord and you are fine with evil.

– It is evil to steal and lie no matter the situation or condition. You shouldn’t be free committing immoral act and still want to serve God with it. Abortion is evil, we must not try to make it look good or found justifying this wrong deed
You shouldn’t be found posting your nude pictures on social media or masturbating, defrauding people on the Internet and be fine with it. These things are evil.

Any child of God caught in these webs of destruction, should cry out to God and tell him to make him uncomfortable in these things so that he can be free, because we are supposed to HATE EVIL.

Prayer:
Father, I am grateful for your words to me this day, I know I have wronged you and have worked contrary to your truth, but I ask for your mercy and forgiveness and pray the Holy Spirit help me not to be comfortable with evil, and show me the way out in Jesus name. Amen.
